I feel left out. Everyone is playing Halo, Gears, and COD, etc. And I hate how some people that play these think that they are the ONLY GOOD GAMES on the 360 or in general of games. I don't play online as often anymore because of these types of gamers. I play any other type of games mostly offline. I play FPS also but those that I can play by myself just fine.
I have some shooters, but dont spend much time playing them online - there are far too many other great games to be playing. I enjoy shooters while I am playing them, but play other genres far more than shooters

They are definatly not the ONLY good games Mass effect is fun and so is Uhhhh i cant think of anymore lol i hated crackdown its pretty overrated but Uncharted iss way more overrated. but Yeh Its much more fun playing on live i cant stand playing by myself unless im playing a local game which is rarely implented in most games now :/

Ughh i cant stand pc games! i prefer playing with a controller in my hand You can always hook up a PS3 360 or any other controller and play pc games. But the problem is that you will get owned all the time because the mouse's better overall control.
i last played online about 3 years ago when i had a gold account, i just don't feel compelled to play online as often as i used to, when i did, i'd play many of the other games like MBU, GH3, Outrun, streets of rage 2 to name a few, i'm more into single player games. Anyone who says otherwise that there's more to xbox 360 than just gears of war or halo 3 is just an idiot, who can't OBVIOUSLY think for themselves (or without their friends saying so) and try new things.but also there's more to gaming on the 360 than just the gamer score and achievements like a lot of people i know who are just interested in boosting all the time with easy achievement games.
I don't really play anyting online, i prefer local multiplayer.
As for shooters, I have a few but my real favorites are RPGs and action games. I'm over the shooter genre for the most part, I started with Wolfenstein 3D, and Doom in my childhood, so I've seen it all and I'm done with it.
I prefer single player games that wield inspiring stories, but I do play online every now and then.
same here. i would much rather have an amazing single player. to this day, ive barely played cod4 online. the only time i go online is when an achievement is at stake. however, team fortress 2 is one game i love to play online.
I play very few shooters online any more. I still play now and again, but most people are WAY too competitive, and it takes a lot of the fun out of it for me. I used to play socom and timesplitters online all the time, but now I find I don't have much time to play, so I stick to strong single player experiences, or offline games that I can play with my gf (man, no matter how i put that, it sounds wrong...). I prefer RPG's or good story-driven games nowadays. I pay for Live, but I'm not too sure why. At less then 4 bucks a month, I get my money's worth mind you, but most of the time it feels like I'm paying for early demo's and arcade games, but that's about it.
I don't play many FPS, online or otherwise. I did play some GRAW online, but that was not a good gaming expierence for me due to the tatics employed by the online community. Since I refuse to play MMOs, I don't really play anything online. I don't pay for Live.
I mostly play single player RPGs. I do like local multiplayer, but I don't do it much as when I hang with my friends it is usually not for gaming.

All I really play online is Halo. I used to play Gears, Gears 2 and CoD4 but I got sick of them. They're fun but they're not my favorite genre. The main reason I play them is because these days, on the 360 especially, the highest production and the best quality games are online shooters. I wish that wasn't so, but more and more devs are cashing in on the fact that they are very popular, and therefore profitable, games. This is why I miss the PS2 era. The PS2 was the best gaming console IMO because of the massive library of single player games that were driven by deep stories and immersive worlds, and Japanese RPGs were plentiful and high quality. It was the last generation where most games did not have an online function. Now, not too many JRPG's come out, and most of the ones that do aren't worth playing. Of course, the online era of gaming has brought many good features with it too, but I really don't like how too many games focus on multiplayer and online.
