Are there many other big problems other than the 3 rings?

I was just wondering because after MS extended the warranty but only for the 3 rings I found out I can get my warranty back from the store I bought it at.

So should I keep the store 3 yearone for other problems or should I cancel it and just have the 3 ring MS warranty because that would be 99% chance of what I would get if I had a problem?

Actually, it's for more than the 3 rings.  I'm pretty happy with Microsoft as of today, actually.  Basically, my dvd tray sometimes will get stuck on my 360, before this announcement, it would've cost me $160 (I know because I called) to fix it.. I phoned today.. Not only are they going to fix it for free, I'm getting a brand new console out of it..  Also, because it's a new console.. I've spent about $150 on microsoft points.. Since on the new console the arcade games will probably be demos unless I go online, ... They're going to reimburse all the points of spent as well. Needless to say I'm very happy about the whole situation.. Only downside is it's going to take a month for me to get a console..  Anyway, I believe the warranty is for any type of hardware failure.
Well, keeping your in store warranty basically means less hassle for you.. You also won't have to wait a month, if not longer, to get a console back..  I'm not really sure you can get money back for a warranty you've bought already.  Unless maybe it's less than a week since you bought your console, then maybe I could see it happening.

Really it's for everything? The guy on the phone told me it was just for RODs. Cool.

I guess I will get a refund then because if MS can fix it, the store won't(I know it's stupid) so there is no point in me having it.

Which is why they give you a 1-year repair warranty.
