are they going to FORCE the family plan and new dashboard on us?

so they are coming up with a new dashboard along with the family plan which will NOW cost $100 for 4 live acounts on one HDD, anyway are they going to force us to change to the new DB and pay $100 for 4 accounts even though there will only be one person using it?

i mean what the heck are they going to do to us?

I highly doubt they're going to make everybody use the family plan, it just doesn't make sense for everyone. They call it the family plan because it's meant for families who want to take advantage of it.

Now come on man just listen to what you said. It makes zero sense. Why would MS make you buy 4 accounts for? How could they make you pay for 4 accounts? Also it isnt a new dashboard really just if you have the family plan there's extra parental control options.

Wat if 4 years for 100 bucks 0_0 then u would never have to worry about it

They are not going to make people pay for the family plan to get the new dashboard, its going to be a download for everyone and MS wouldn't do this family plan mandatory because they know most of the people who play only have 1 account on their xbox. This is just to entice families to get Kinect and play.

I'm laughing at people who think they will buy the family plan and get 4 years of live for the price of 2 years.

M$ has already said there will be a primary account which controls the other 3 and you can't load up all live cards onto 1 account. Once account A has used a prepacked live card it won't allow you to put the other 3 onto account A. Also as far as I know once 1 card is activated the other 3 will expire when the first one does so you must assign them to your other 3 accounts.

Because i got a dashboard deal when my gold expired. It was deal of the week 10 bucks for 3 months.

I say just dont buy gold and wait til the next deal of the week again...

The new dashboard has to be activated after the update, it allows you to go through the menus with Kinect, it might have extra options, who knows, but the biggest thing is I think you just clap or something like that and it switches to Kinect controlled.
