Are u still glad u bought Xbox 360, even though it sucks on reliability?
I think I am... I enjoy about a good year of 360 until its broke just recently, imagaine if PS3 or Wii would have broke after a year... there would be no way to fix it for free

Oh hell yes. The amazing line up of games alone makes me look past the hardware problems.flatline711
I couldn't care less about the hardware quality. I bought my 360 for the games, and it has certainly delivered in that respect.pandorax1
well...of course, if you're the lucky one whose their 360 havent failed them ... u wouldnt care ... but without the hardware, all good the disc do me is a coaster
I'll be honest, I am not very happy with the 360 itself, however it's a piece of crap hardware that has excellent games. I really hope the new units coming out are much quieter and reliable, but I still feel sorry for the people who will continue to have problems for the life of their current unit. I have an Elite that started freezing up within a day of playing. It doesn't freeze as much as my Premium did, but forclose to $500I expected a lot better and there really is no good excuse. It's fine they repair the units for free, but you are deprived of gaming for a long period of time while they do and even than once you get it back it is likely to have the same problems again.
I wish they wouldn't have rushed it to market to begin with, but it's a little late to think about that now. As I said though, thankfully there are some really great games to take away the sting of the frequent problems. Hopefully they will get it right with the hardware very soon and give proper fixes to the people sending their units in.
I'm really happy with mine, hasn't broke down or had any red rings ever since I got it, and that was on its official release. And for some reason, I found a free Xbox Live gold card in it too, so you can guess how happy I was to get mine. Still don't know how the Xbox Live card got in there though. Didn't say anything on the box about getting one free month of Xbox Live. Dumb luck I guess
Im very disapointed in buying the 360  Im on my second xbox 360 and hard drive  The games are the same thing that comes out for the PC:x
My xbox failed me a lot of times my first one off course but the second has no problems but I really dont like xbox live we pay have to pay to play online BAH!!!!!!!!!!! PS3 HAS ONLINE FREE!!!!!!!:D AND THE SERVICE IS EQUAL
I should had bought a PS3 now I will never get a chance to play MGS4:cry: or have a PS3. :?
Unless I can sell my 360.... But were?
worst thing that happened to mine is i unplugged the AV plug and there were 4 red lights so i didnt know what it was
found out it was the plug though so
Well it still hase good games regardless how many times it breaks down on me. But this is defiedently my last M$ console I ever buy on year one or two. There really is no excuse that I've had to go through 2 360 in less then year. Iv'e been playing and buying video consoles used for many years and never had a faulty manufacturer problems. I've never had problems with gaming hardware before actually. The list goes....
Atari: Gift from uncle when he was finished with it. Dont Know if it still works ( Havent seen the actual console since 99 but it worked then.)
Nintendo: Local Yard Sale. Still works.
SPNES & Genesis: Flea Market. Both still work.
N64: Bought from a friend. Still works
Playstation & PS2: Toy's R Us. Both still work
Xbox, Game Cube, & Wii: Game Stop. Still works.
360: Walmart. On my 3rd 360. Sent it to M$ twice. (Maybe buying a video game console at Wal mart was a bad omen)

I havent bought a 360 yet in part b'cuz of the hw problem! But as far as PC game multiports the 360 in my view is well worth it. I still like Sony better since i've been a fan since 96 but the few games that MS gets a year are at least worth the purchase. I honestly don't see how anyone could say theres nothing on either 360 or PS3 thats coming out and has them interested. Specially considering how many "will it be ported" topics there are in boards beit ps3, 360, or pc!

that happened to me like 3 times, each time I almost cried.
I'm not that glad that I bought a 360 because it's not a reliable console.I bought mine last year and had no problems until now. It's making circular marks on my games and it won't read them anymore.I heard that a 400$ PS3 is coming out and I think that I'm going to sell the 360.I'm sorry for the really good games that I have though.I'll think about it.

To me there is no real other choice right now....I can buy Gamecube with a gimic controller that will probably have about 5 games worth playing over it's lifespan, a George Foreman grill with a built in Blu-ray player or a game system that actually has a pretty nice library of good games.
Yes it's unfortunate that the 360 has had some hardware problems but to paraphrase Sir Walter Scott "Better one shining hour of Bioshock than an age without a AAA game."
haven't had probs with mine for the last two years or so.Kook18
Same here. Personally, I'm thrilled with it. There are some really great games on it, I love Live Arcade and Xbox Live is still the master of online gaming.

People often forget on this board your not supposed to talk about other systems there is a systems war board
I would hate to have a system that broke all the time. Even though it has good games and it freezes I would go crazy and smash it into pieces. It doesn't matter how good the games are if you can't play it because your system exploded. So I don't get why you think it's so great. I still think 360 is a piece of and I fanilly bought it still is known for being a ticking time bomb.

To be honest..no!!! I've heard the horror stories about repairs and the red ring of death from people I personally know and people online but I have not had these issues. November will be a year for me...so far things have been cool...no problems.
