Are you buying Kinect?

You don't need to explain why or why not, I just wanna know how many people are getting it.

EDIT: You know what, since you guys do wanna explain your reasons than go ahead, I personally think I'll get it just because it's something new and it's the holidays time, but I have one problem and it's that I don't have that much space in my room so I can move around.

Knowing is half the battle. Seeing how many people might buy a product that is hardware determines how much software takes advantage of it which determines if it's a good buy or now.

Not getting it , I'm not into the kiddie games like the wii has , maybe if they came out with different style of games I would consider it .

the $150 price tag really makes me not wanna buy this peripheral.

i probably spend a lot more on games, but $150 for something i might not

use that often just holds me back. maybe when there's a deal or a price cut

i'll consider. next-gen system will probably be around by then though.

Nope I will be buying real games this Fall.

I want to but its already sold out everywhere even before launch. So the chances of getting it before X-mas are slim. When I see one though I'll pick it up.

I think Kinect has a lot of potential and at least is something remotely different from the Wii or PS Move. I don't expect the first batch of software to be overly convincing but I am sure by this time next year we shall be seeing a few games that are going to exploit the Kinect and really drive sales.

I will take the wait and see approach for now and maybe pick one up when it hits the $99 price point.

Possibly. It would definetly be fun but I don't think I would get a lot of solo play time out of it. It would be jsut like the Wii. Play it every once in a while.

What the Kinect is trying to do...Wii came up with it first. And they do it better. I didnt buy an Xbox to do stuff that dealt with motion detection. If I wanted that, I should have bought a Wii instead...

I cant really use it because of space and lighting limitations.

Not ONE game at launch is of any interest to me.

Even if some "real" games come to Kinnect in the future, i still wont be able to re-arrange my living room and install proper lighting just to be able to use the thing.
