I am, it sounds like it will be pretty cool. What about you?

I'm in the Preview Program and I've had the update since it was available and so far it's nothing too special, it's basically a performance tweak to the existing dashboard. I haven't really had a chance to really delve into it, but the ability to see how many games you've gotten 100% achievements on is great, as well as the in game achievement browsing.
The Netflix Party thing is something I cannot test due to my region, but conceptually it does nothing for me and if I'm not mistaken the other notable features are coming later this year.
im not looking forward to them making me pay for stuff for my avatar :( apart from that it looks good ecspeccialy the ability to review games etcxxW0LFxxLHGThey're not MAKING you pay for stuff :P Some of the things that they have in the marketplace are kind of cool though. As for disc eject, if you're removing a game, wouldn't you be standing right there and could press the button anyway? It's a bit easier to work with parties now, which I'm a huge proponent of
[QUOTE="xxW0LFxxLHG"]im not looking forward to them making me pay for stuff for my avatar :( apart from that it looks good ecspeccialy the ability to review games etcxsubtownerxThey'll still be putting out free stuff for the Avatars. Also, game achievements will unlock certain Avatar pieces also. True true which I absolutely adore. I can't wait to unlock stuff for my avatar from games that I do well in. Like If you could get the 'Splosion Man Live Action suit for your avatar that woudl be AWESOME
Half n' half. The eject feature seems pretty cool, although I honestly like the layout currently. Hope they don't change it around too much or make it complex. I'm curious about it though so I'm a little eager.aryoshiThe layout is basically the same except that they are adding a games on demand and avatar marketplace. I have the preview program and I am pretty excited by it although it's nothing like the NXE change. As for everyone saying "I don't like the fact that MS is making me buy avatar stuff" It's totally up to you. You buy it if you want or you don't, simple.
Yeah sure, I really like the disc eject feature by pressing X when you have the xbox guide up, I remember a thread not long ago in system wars about how the ps3 could and the xbox couldnt... microsoft must have heard :P

And yet you still have to get up to actually change the disc.........kind of a pointless feature, if you ask me.
There's not really much in the new dashboard update thats for me, though. I'd think about spending a buck maybe for a racing helmet or something if they offer it, but other than that, its pretty useless stuff for me. I dont do Netflix, I dont do Facebook, I dont do Twitter andI like having hard copies of my games.
Sounds like it would be really cool for people who do use those sorts of features, though.
Ok, I am lost. I didn't know about ANOTHER dash update.
Can Someone please provide links and screens please?
[QUOTE="senses_fail_06"]No, in general I hate change. SilverpeelI, also, am not too fond of change. For anything.I hear that. I'd still rather have the simple design of the original dashboard. But I'm also the same guy who has played the same multiplayer game for 3 years.
I look forward to pretty much everything, eject function will help me since I sit pretty much where my 360 and tv is, and yeah.
How will the eject system help you? To switch games or what?I look forward to pretty much everything, eject function will help me since I sit pretty much where my 360 and tv is, and yeah.

Not, really. It doesn't add much of anything I will use. I won't use facebook/myspace/twitter. You still have to get up anyways to change the disc, and I don't have netflix. So, I really could care less about the dashboard. I barely ever spend time on it as I am usually playing a game when my 360 is on.SilverpeelThe disc eject is good for me because my Xbox sits at the back of a long desk to the left of me when im playing, so I have to stand up and stretch over to hit the eject button, and its even more difficult to press while the tray is open. I can reach the actual tray OK though and set the disc in, just hard to hit the button.
The only thing I'm looking forward to is the party reconnect thing. The disconnections from parties are so annoying and atleast this new feature will take out the hassle of manually reconnecting.
