Are you going to buy Dragon Age: Origins?

I was planning on waiting until after Christmas to get this game, but the more I see about it the more I want it so I just preordered the Collector's Edition off the EA Store and can't wait until it comes out. I haven't seen many people talking about this game so I was wondering who else is getting this?

This is full rental at best, the videos don't excite me, but Bioware making it does.

I'm playing demon's souls, this got beaten to the punch. Point and click sounds so old now, I can understand it has a tactical element to it, but still. Maybe they should have made balders gate 3 like ten years ago.

Nope I don't really like Bioware games. I like RPG's, western and some japanese(I find alot of them too generic), but I just haven't liked any Bioware games. This one seems no different.

im still unsure if im going to buy it, it looks good though so i probably will end up buying it in the long run.

im getting this game day one. like 3 months ago i had 0 hype for this game. but that changed after i watched the latest trailers. now im uber pumped for this game. so yeah cant wait for it :D

a must buy for me, will hopefully tide me over till mass effect 2, anyway looks awesome, i enjoyed the boulders gate and neverwinter nights games so i should like this

Yes its point and click. Yes im going to buy it. So what if its not modern. Baldurs gate 2 was a gaming classic. The story, charachter development and depth were second to none. If this is even half as good it will be worth the money. Maybe devs should try rehashing old classics a bit more. Instead we aregetting games with amazing graphics but very shallow gameplay.

Yeah I already knew about the CE. I've got it preordered. I wasn't sure what you were talking about because there's no "wooden box" LE that I know of. That one has a tin case.

I would prefer to play my RPGS on PS3 too but since I've played Jade Empire on Xbox and I'll be starting ME on 360 soon, and I'm getting ME2 for 360, I figure I might as well keep my BioWare games on 360.

Day one purchase for me..Im a die hard rpg/bioware fan..Been enjoying there games for a very long time..Games going to be epic..With many years of enjoyable "Game-play"..Here that Game-play not graphics..Thats what makes games "fun"...Plus all the modsplayer mods that the community will support it with..
