[QUOTE="unknown-phenom"]Oh ok, well since its for college I will actually vote this time lol. I have a premium so I am fine with that. PwnagerYeah man, I'm not buying a whole new system, the 120 gig hard drive pisses me off though.
Yea, same here. I might buy the Hard-drive but I highly doubt it. The price is $179.99, which is total bull, Its almost as much as the Wii. And Ill only buy it if I can transfer my data cause there is noo way im redoing everything.Â
Yeah, cool that you're doing a study for college here. What class is this for?
Anyway, I voted no - I'll just be getting a new hard drive, though I'm being ripped off $100.

I know that . . . I'm saying you pay $400 for the Premium, or only $70 more for the Elite, and $170 for the hard drive alone. So if you buy the Premium, as I already have, and then the hard drive, you total $570, thus losing $100 to cruel marketing schemes (EDIT: because you didn't buy the Elite in the first place, if you had had the option to).

Ohh ok lol, sorry. My bad. Like I said, if I do buy it then Im going to wait till the price drops dramatically and even if it does drop Im not buying it unless I absolutly need it.Â
I am doing a poll to see how many poeple will buy this product. This is for one of my college classes, so please vote in the poll. Thank you.Army_Veterannice, i took a stats class and its nice to see a poll with good choices lol
What college? What is your major by the way cuz it sounds like electronic engineering or computer engineering?
Anyways I already own the premium and I would only buy an elite if my 360 breaks down since I never got a warrentty but I might buy the 120 gb hard drive and use the transfer cable for my game saves and files.
I voted "no", but the issue is more complicated for me than that. If my current 360 dies, I'll be picking up an Elite. I like 360 too much to throw my hands up and run to the competition. I also would much rather have the HDMI, so the thought has crossed my mind that if I can recoup some of the losses by selling my current 360 and if a transfer cable is made available, it'll be much easier for me to take. I'd throw down an extra sum of money for HDMI (with the larger HDD as a perk), but not $480. The things that would swing my decision are if the machine ran at all more reliably or more quietly... I understand that they didn't include the smaller chips, which is unfortunate, but if they were to at least include a quieter or more reliable DVD drive, I'd be more receptive. It sounds like a lawnmower when it gets to reading the discs sometimes and it freaks me out. I have enough anxiety living in the Modern World, I don't need my 360 adding to it.
Hey people did you know that when the elite sells out they are gonna put the 120 gig hard drive into the premium console. Or so i heard. So save ur money.twopic58
Not buying the Elite, I am getting a customized case for my 360 (black case with an "X" cutout w/ color changing LED's), adding the 120G and then buying the black accessories for it... Done deal - now whenever they come out with the HD-DVD or Blu'Ray 360 then I will buy it...

:arrow:Next-Generation Gaming is playing games with your friends on Xbox Live. PERIOD.
I'm still deciding if I want the Elite or just the premium.ComradeCrash
Dude, get the Elite. For only $80 more you get so much more memory. I got the premium and my HDD filled up after only a month or so.
I'll might spring for the bigger HDD at some point in the future, but I don't think I need HDMI. My TV doesn't support it, and 360 games only render at 720p max (at least currently). From what I understand, HDMI is only useful for rendering images in 1080p.
I'll stick with my Premium for now, but if it breaks, I'll use myy BB PRP spend an extra $80 and get the Elite. Props on the college. I'm a high school senior, and damn this college stuff is stressful. KniferHitandRun
