It depends on if something comes out I really like, as of right now I don't think I will. They come out with free clothes pretty often and now we can unlock stuff on new games, that's good enough.

I think it is both pointless and stupid to make threads about this. I mean seriously, no matter WHAT Microsoft had done to make this work, people would complain about it. I mean christ, Boo hoo man, "Microsoft wants me to pay a WHOLE DOLLAR for data someone worked to create!!!" "RAAAAAAGE!!! I have to pay for a product!!!!" "How dare Microsoft work and think like an actual business!!!" Seriously. Avvy Market, people complain, On Demand, People complain. Netflix, Complaining. Maybe for a split second you should sit back and think "Maybe I'm thinking wrong. Maybe I should grow a brain and realize that if I DID buy from this marketplace, I should simply find the cheapest way to look the best!" I've spent 160 MS points. That's it. I love the way my Avvy turned out. I think it was a good purchase. I'll occasionally look, I'm thinking of hecking new content once a month. I'm gng to be picky about it like a smart customer so that I can be happy with my buys. See, one thing about a few bucks spent on this new market, You know exactly what you are getting and you can only ever buy what YOU want. It also acts and does exactly what you are purchasing it to do. At least you aren't going to end up with buyers remorse like people buying constant map packs (Face it, every map pack you have bought, you have at least disliked ONE bit of it.) or content (Fallout 3: Mothership Zeta, I am dissapointed in you.)
hahahaha nice super subjective poll. couldnt you have said 'yes' or 'no' as for me, i did buy a hat back while the update while still in beta just to try it out. only 80 points. something like that, perhaps i would again in the future. however, i will not buy, say, a full set of armor, something which is completely awesome but in reality costs 5 bucks and is nothing more than something to look at that does nothing?! nope. unless they drop the price down to something reasonable (like 1 buck or less, which i think they may have said at one point would be the original price) i wont be buying something like that
There's a lot of cool stuff on the marketplace but nothing that I am willing to spend as much as ms is asking on. I used to buy themes back in the day, before the nxe, in 2007 mostly. I regret buying each one. The money adds up. Buy enough clothing and/or themes and you could have spent those points on a new xbla game or two, or an add-on.
I may unlock some stuff via arcade games, but I'll never pay for virtual shirts and rc cars.lol We need to take a stand by not buying this stuff, they are trying to take advantage of gamers and their open wallets. Let's show them we aren't the free spending morons they think we are!!!
Personally, I think it is kind of useless and thought so since getting my PS3. The only time I get new clothes is if they are free. When I'm already paying for the system and games (and with Microsoft paying for Xbox Live and the Wireless Adapter) the last thing I'm going to spend money on is virtual clothes that no one really sees anyway.
I think it is fun to win some clothing items and stuff by playing games, but I would never pay for stuff to put on my avatar.

No way seriously I don't pay in playstation home either this is kinda ridiculous IMO maybe its just me .........Personally I think the clothes shoud be part of an achievement but I guess this would take the gold of Sony and MS corp fat cats pockets...
Winning the clothes sounds much much better than buying it. Theoretically anyone can buy himself some new, flashy clothes for his avatar, but not anybody can win it by doing something special and skillful in a game. And what if it gets so popular, that Microsoft decide to pay a designer (Hilfiger, Boss, Lacoste, Gucci etc.) for a design of a new t-shirt, with a brand mark on it of course? It could get to a avatar-brand-race.
i put yes. ill only buy clothes if i have left over ms points that i cant buy anything else with. so far ive only bought the guitar.

Where is the guitar located? I couldn't find one yesterday when I looked. Or does Canada get the shaft again..?it was under the props section. in fact (in US) the prop section icon is a guitar.
