Despite literally having my PS2 hooked up to my TV via component with RE 4 in there (It's actually the only PS2 game I play on occasion), I was going to get RE4 HD purely because it was in HD. Once it had been revealed the HD was just a quick patch up job and a friend of mine bought it and he couldn't stop complaining about how they changed the controls, I decided against it. Still, it's great that more people can play this game for the first time, for me, it's just not worth it.SophetteI don't know...I know the version I am playing now looks better than the one I played on the GC all those years ago. Maybe I am just getting old and I can't really remember what the 'Cube version looked like...
Ya i was wondering how different the controls are because i was thinking of buying it, so if anybody could tell me I would greatly appreciate it.
Thanks
I d/l it but didn't play it yet. Almost done Gears and rented Spiderman, which seems like a mistake according to reviews...
I would say yes it is worth buying, especially if you don't have the game for another console already.so its worth buying you would say?

Love it. I downloaded both RE4 and Code Veronica. I'm currently on the third boss in RE4. I have RE4 on the Gamecube and PS2, so a HD remake was the icing on the cake. I have one minor gripe, which is the controls, where you have to use the left stick to turn, or aim, and walk. I prefer using the right analog stick for the turning and aiming, and I was hoping you could change that in the controller options, but nope, not in there. Either way though I'm loving it.
