what other option is there?
a working refurb, or your non working one..
of course i'd prefer an in-store warranty, and get a replacement the day mine breaks.. but unfortunatly, that's not an option for me. so i'll take what i get.. as long as it doesn't break down within a couple months, i'll be happy (i know it's to much to ask for it to never break down)
i'd rather get a working refurbished 360, than wait month's for them to fix mine.
[QUOTE="summer_star17x"]i hate microsoft.ineedafriendplz
I second that
but i LOVE my 360 :P
oh same. sigh.
just hate how they're always dropping prices after i bought my system.
and i also hate waiting on hold for 40 mins at a time.
but i love their games. curse them!
if you guys can go back and purchase the store replacement warranty, would you have done it?MoeAlza
definatly.. i was trying to do that. but unfortunatly all the stores around here knew what a POS it was and wouldn't offer any in-store warranty's.
if sony made a controller like the 360's.. i'd probably switch. i'm giving M$ 3 strikes. they've use 1 already, i better not get crap back like Shawn got or we'll be having some very heated discussions
I'm going on to my fourth one.
The first one I bought came broken straight out of the box. I just went to the store with my receipt the next day and got a new one.
A few months later I got the RROD and sent it to microsoft. Got another one after two months of struggling with them.
That one was good up until a few weeks ago when it was randomly not reading discs. Then it completely stopped reading them.
I finally got the box this week and sent it back today. Now I wait.....

I dont know about you guys, but where I live the $60 gets you a "sorry we have non in stock" and you get to wait a couple weeks anyway, may as well just us the Xbox customer service and not pay the $60

But at least you get a brand new console instead of a refurbished one.
