I have always been a big fan of RPGS, be it turn based or real time. I also am really looking forward to Too Human, and would put it in my top 5 most anticipated games this year. I have Lost Odyssey and really enjoyed what Ive played of it so far but I havent gotten very far into it because right now I am having a hard time just focusing on that game which I usually like to do with RPGs.
I'm a big fan of RPG's. It was a hard decision to move from PS2 to the 360 because I liked the Final Fantasy series so much. I didn't want to spend money to upgrade my PC to play Oblivion, so I put the money towards a 360 instead. I'm about 60 hours into Oblivion, and I really like it. I've got Morrowind and Lost Odyssey on the list for future games (if Amazon prices would drop down a bit more).
I like the action/adventure/shooters too, but the last thing I need to do after work is get even more tensed up and stressed out. Those are my "weekend" games.
I'm hoping that they release more RPG's along the lines of Baldur's Gate or Champions of Norrath. Those were fun co-op games. I don't feel as guilty playing games if my wife is playing along with me.

I usually control the charcters on most RPG's while my girlfriend tells me what to do on them, which isn't bad, I guess.
i really like RPG's, but, since the release of oblivion, most games have failed to match up
mass effect was spectacular, and there's a sequel coming out (it's going to be a trilogy)
and i can't wwait for too human to come out
i guess the genre's in a small slump (ending mid- august!)
My favorite genre. This doesn't apply to JRPGs which are not qualified to be called RPGs, but I am not going to get into that again.

I couldn't agree more, man. When I see an advertisement for Lost Odessy labeling it "The first next generation RPG" I thought "The next generic RPG."

Yeah, I made the mistake of showing her how to make her own character on Oblivion. Now we have to take turns.
I love RPG's, I have Mass Effect, Enternal Sonata, and Lost Odyssey.
I need to get Blue Dragon.
But really looking forward to: The Last Remnant, Infinite Undiscovery, Star Ocean 4, Too Human, Tales of Vesperia, Fable 2, and maybe Fallout 3.
I'm a massive RPG nut, but the problem is that they died out a long time ago.
If it's not a mediocre action game with a good story pretending to be an RPG (Mass Effect, or Oblivion if you think it has a good story) then it's a JRPG.
And while theres nothing wrong with JRPG's, i've gotten a little overloaded with them.
I'm looking forward to Tales and Too Human simply for the local multiplayer. But the rest can go eat it as far as i'm concerned, especially Oblivion + Guns.
Well up until lately, the JRPG is something that has been reserved for J consoles & I've never owned a single J console since the 80s. However, that being said, I'm much looking forward to experiencing the JRPGs on my 360 with games soon coming out and games past (such as Lost Odyssey, etc). My problem is that I don't have the time to play games that much. I think I bought about 10 new (well mostly (try ALL) are used/like-new condition) games last month & I've spent the bulk of the time playing Mass Effect out of that group of games, which defies the reason to have bought the other games. It was a major case of self-pwnage when I did that.
I've been into RPGs since back in the day, I'm talking Secret of Mana back in the day. However, I've been out of the RPG loop for like 7 years, so I'm long overdue to get back into the genre. Currently, I'm patiently waiting to get my 360 back so I can finally dig into Mass Effect. On the horizon, I'm definitely looking forward to Too Human, Star Ocean, Fable 2, and of course Fallout 3. I just hope it doesn't turn into "Oblivion + guns" as another poster so lovingly put it :/
Fallout 3 has a lot of potential going for it - great theme, great environment, and 2 of the best RPGs already under its belt as a series. I'm currently playing 2, finished 1 not long ago, and without a doubt these are great games. The overlying dark sense of humor and references alone get me. This is definitely a game that deserves to be resurrected in the new gen. At the same time, all of that potential just puts the stakes higher for Bethesda. Please don't **** it up guys...
