Are you paranoid about getting the red ring of death?? i am!!

i am very paranoid bout rrod any one else feel the same , just i value my console a lot as it costs me loads and i know you can get it fixed but its the hassel

Not really...if it happens it happens, nothing I can do about it so I just relax and enjoy the ride. I had to send in my old 360 4 times for various things and it was relatively painless. My elite has been going for about a year and zero problems so far.

i cant stand when poeple leave my xbox on when there not playing it...like to take a break eating or something. i always run to cut it off, lol

no man if u got the falcon version just put a fan on the side of the console and relax ..

yeah if you read my post from earlier then right now i really am :( my warranty runs out in october i think and i dont have the money to just replace it. and borderlands comes out in october so if it dies then ill be mad.

Not even slightly as it wont take that long to get it back, I have other consoles, I have handhelds, and there are plenty of things to do besides play video games.

no, there are always methods to fix it. xbox360truefix.com pretty much has any type of error covered.

i wouldn't say i'm paranoid about it but considering i'm on my third system, i wouldn't be very happen if it happened again. but i can't complain because regardless the games on 360 in my opinion are the best there are.

I used to be paranoid about it before I got my first one. I would always turn it off when I was not using it and make sure it was in a spot where it was really well ventilated. Now that I am on my second one I don't even care. Its going to happen because the refurb I got is a loud pos. When it goes I am going to go get one of the newer models and sell the refurb crap I get back.

Not at all, if it happens whatever I'll just send it in to get repaired. No big deal, it happens. I've still got some other consoles to play, so it wouldn't bother me much.

it happened to me twice and I try to keep it cool with the fan on especially because it's summer and my room boils up.

I just hate when my girl leaves it running then runs off to her hair or something... I come to my room and see on and almost breakdown...

I've had the RRoD three times now, I was concious about getting it again after my first xbox commited suicide. But it doesn't faise me anymore, if it breaks, it breaks lol.

Nope, my last(and first) time was in October 2007. It's been nearly 2 years and my 360 is still alive and well. Plus if it does end up failing, I could just send it into Microsoft. It's nothing really to be paranoid about.

I've gotten the RROD 4 times now, so i'm not paranoid; i've just lost hope.

Nope. I even hold it vertically all the time *gasp* If it was designed to work in that position as well I'm expecting for it to last and not break on me unless I abuse it in some way. It's a Jasper Arcade so I'm pretty confident.

i was right to be paranoid :p i sent mine in last saturday and its been fixed already. my repair status says shipped back to customer but i havent got the email yet.

No. I bought mine Nov '07 and so far so good.I hope it keeps on chugging along. :D

I've had RROD once, so I'm not so paranoid anymore.

i just got my email :D its on its way back within 7 days. yay! i want to be able to get online when it gets back but my modem only has one ethernet socket :(
