Just a simple question I was curious about. Do you know your way around 6 strings & think Guitar Hero is a tribute to rock or are you like those two dudes on the commercial? And yes, I've played electric guitar for years.

Yes and I'm in a band. I've been playing real guitar for about 13 years now and my band is about to release our debut album on an indie label. I alsojust recentlybeat Lou(cifer) on expert.

So I guess you could say I'm an all around guitar hero. :)

I've been in this band for about 6 years now and I honestly couldn't tell you how many times I've performed in front of live people. For a little over a year it was at least once per weekend. We've played 2 shows in one night before. It's slowed down quite a bit now though since the scene has changed, but we still get out about twice amonth. Hopefully this will go up once the album comes out.

There's nothing like playing for a live audience. It's a different type of euphoria. :)

I can certainly agree with you here. The feeling is great and I have a feeling that things will pick up once the album comes out so long as we stay cool and level headed and FOCUSED!

On the topic I can BARELY play a real guitar and I'm only slightly good at Guitar Hero but I do LOVE the game and will continue to play them so long as I'm alive and they make them. I am also in 13th Shells band.

I've been playing guitar for about 8 years now. My main study is Jazz and classical, but of course I play just about everything. Here's a pic of my axe. I can't play guitar Hero without doing up/down picking.

I can't play GH very well at all, but I can play most of the tunes on guitar. It's always great when someone's like "You can't touch my top score on {whatever song}" and I go play the real thing. :D

LOL

I've been playing real guitar for about 5 years now and I find it really funny when "Guitar Heroes" get all proud when they beat Jordan or Through the Fire and Flames in Expert. I can play both of those in real life and I dont walk around bragging (maybe except for this right here). Also, Michael Angelo Batio is comming to my town today at a local music store Xp

Keep on Shreddin dudes
