Was debating. Gave in and bought on Saturday. Maps are ok. If the next map pack is 1200 points I may not get it though.

I'm way to busy playing BFBC2 to even think about the map pack for MW2.

Not going to be buying them, if you buy a new copy of BFBC 2 you never have to pay for maps, you get them for free.

No debate. I chose not to buy them and still will not. My friend has even offered to pay for them but I turn down the offer. It's not about the money. I just don't think $15 for 3 new maps and 2 old ones is justified. If I ever see them on sale for 800 points AND I still play the game then I might consider. But not now.

Once upon a time, I bought a full-fledged game for the same price or less. Come to think of it, it wasn't once upon a time at all. In fact, I've done so many times. If MW2 was the absolute greatest game ever made (which no other game is, either), then perhaps the maps would look more appealing... if they were $5 less as well. no deal.

I will continue to debate buying them until the price drops. I don't want companies getting the (stupid) idea that overcharging for maps is OK. I may not even be playing MW2 by the time they drop the price. The first map pack should have been free considering all the crap we had to deal with. Instead of shaking our hands and saying "thanks for sticking with us", they kick us in the balls and take out wallets. I really doubt I will be buying another MW game anytime soon. I just don't like what happened with this game. The map pack pricing pretty much iced it for me.

I don't even play MW2 anymore, and I would much rather spend the points on a game like Perfect Dark.

I'm just pointing out that for the same price as the map pack I can get a game that doesn't have a huge list of problems when it comes to multiplayer.

woot for common sense. glad to see people see the map pack for what they are a way to make a quick buck off of their fanbase. they are absolutely terrible to their fanbase to its so weird their numbers are as high as they are. its like battered wife syndrom, they keep going back no matter how badly they are treated. there are plenty of shooter equally as good that don't treat their fanbase like crap.

You don't get the free maps anymore. That was for a limited time for those who purchased the limited edition. And that pack is also 1200 points, yet I don't see many complaints about that.

I do love Call Of Duty, but it is a rip-off. Not only for the price but because you can't actually select what map you want to play in, so it is possible you may never play them. Only if it comes to 400 points would I ever consider.
