When given the choice to be good or evil in a game, which do you choose? Why?
I always choose the good path, I think in the end it's more rewarding (Bioshock, Fallout 3)

thats a tough one
i usually do the non-dick move when actually given options
but, when i find it in my best interest, ill kill an npc and steal all their ****
i dont see the point in killing everyone for no reason (unless im bored) but i do see the point in killing this one guy and robbing him
im a lil of both
ill save the people, then rob them

This sums me up.
Sure I'll save innocents anddonate to charity so I can look like a sexy saint.
But once I see that a civilian is wearing the best armour/weapon in the game, I'mma pwn him and take his stuff.
My first time through the game I always go with being good, then the second time through I'll be bad. Not sure why, that's just how I've always done it since KOTOR.
I always prefer to be the hero. I don't know, if the game is immersive enough, it can be a really rewarding experience.
One of the most satisfying moments of this gen... Blowing up Megaton. It was beautiful.

I took Fallout 3 over ot my friend's house so he could try it as an evil guy. I kept reloading so I could see the explosion again and again.:P

I know right, even better was realizing I actually get to push the button, it felt so right.[QUOTE="Phoenix534"][QUOTE="bubnux"]

I know right, even better was realizing I actually get to push the button, it felt so right.I know. And then my idiot friend walked as far into the radiation as he could and nearly died. And when he got The Pitt, the first thing he did was dive into the river, thinking he could get out. Died in two seconds.
Hmmms i always tend to start off good then i cant stick to being good and end up going bad and after that there aint no turning back :o
Well im not really "evil" in real life, so when i am given that option in a videogame i usually take the evil path to have tastes of the "dark side" haha. But I can be a completionist on occasionso I will always go back and play the good side afterwards
Generally I lean more towards good but I also generally even it out with a massacre or to whenever I get bored
I always choose the evil path. On hopes that I will end up looking like a bad mother f***** and hope that I will be feared by all. But usually it turns out that I look ugly (Fable 2) and really see don't enough change in others reachs to me....like I would like people to give me offerings in order to save their first born son. Or to gain the power to control a whole city....to have legions that will follow m every whim...
It's in my nature to do Good ;)mccloskey-14
Quit lying to yourself...all humans are naturally evil lol ....just messin but really I do think that we need some rules to contain our actions.
Always good, but if there is a really annoying character that I can kill, I'll probably blow them away even if I get a few evil points for it.
In Fallout 3 I was pretty much an angel then i decided I was going to go kill everybody at Tenpenny Tower(except for the old, black guy). I did and it was awesome. So I also robbed them all. Then I donated the money to churches. I considered it my robinhood moment.
i always play good in my first play through of morality games and evil on a second play so i learn all of the story. well except for the knights of the old republic games i used to always jack up my mind control and persuasion skills and make people do whatever i wanted in conversations like shooting themselves in the head or jumping off cliffs.
edit: also in fallout 3 i played evil yet i did a lot of bad things like stealing and murder and still ended up with good karma because of a few major decisions made in game like the power of the atom quest.
I start out Good. Then try to replay on Evil. Emphasis on 'try'. A lot of times, games don't let you be evil unless you're the kill-babies-rape-murder evil, and I find that boring. One reason I loved Mass Effect, the 'evil' meter wasn't really evil, the Paragon vs Renegade was more Paladin vs Jack Bauer. I could actually be negative/not so good without being a Dastardly who twirls his mustache!
