Hi all, recently got my xbox back (two days ago) and found that when ever i turn it on first off it goes on but doesnt respond to anything, I dont even get a picture on the tv to show the dashboard or whatever. Now when I turn it off and on again all is fine, it responds its a normal xbox!

Please help because I've just about had enough of 360's breaking on me due to bad luck...

Thanks

:(

you might want to check your input cables (video) to see if its in the right place. do you hear any sound when you turn it on?

None at all from the tele, the xbox makes a sound but when it boots up properly you can hear it sort of making a rev noise and the noise level increases slightly for a second. When it boots up first time around this doesnt happen, its just a steady noise, it doesnt respond to anything, you cant even wirelessly connect the controller to it.

My guess is the laser has a problem...Which is a complete joke considering its brand new but there you go thats 360's for you.

Any ideas please, I'd really like to sort it out because I can see it getting worse like having to keep starting it up and it not responding until finally it will work. All the cables are in the right places, HD is enabled, I havent tampered with the xbox at all and I definitely know how to set it all up properly (anyone would :))

Thanks
