Army of Two Multiplayer

For anyone who has bought or played this game I heard that he multiplayer is only like 2 on 2 or 1 on 1 is this true because if it is I'm not going to buy this game.

Its 2vs2 where each team races to accomplish objectives before the other team. Each objective is worth a certain amount of money, that you can use during the match to buy better weapons, and the team at the end with the most cash wins. It is only 2vs2, but the board is filled with enemy bots that both teams have to deal with as well as each other.

Yeah I know but I dont want to spend 60 bucks on a game with no lasting value(multi)

Thats a good move. I personaly like the Co-Op better than the multiplayer but you may be diffrent.
