I would seriously like to see atari release a DBZ game that you can actually build up your character like punches and combos etc.. I loved it in final bout why not do it again anyone with me? and if you haven't heard of final bout then you've never played a DBZ game before.

At this point I wouldn't be surprised if most if not all Dragon Ball console games go to the Wii.

is complicated to do a a dragon ball-esque games, fights are too fast and characters do a lot of things in a fight so is really hard to represent them, goku can make his kamehameha whenever he wants but if you put it into a game you could finish a fight using only that move, and it feels clunky to have to pull a combo to perform a super move....so basically Dragon ball need its own game genre hehehe

I wish they came out with a DB/DBZ game where you could roam the planet freely (on the nimbus as a kid then on your own later) and have missions and objectives, then when you encounter a foe, it would change to 2D battle mode like in the DBZ fighters. That would be sweet. And (sorry for the threadjack) are any of you going to watch the movie? I will go watch the movie, but don't have high hopes, I'm just going to see it as a fan of the series.

Theres no way we'll ever get a Dragon Ball game that ambitious. Dragon Ball games are mainly made to make a quick buck. Most of them have a development time of less than a year. I'm not saying the games will always be bad, Dimp's has done an admirable job when they get to make them, but I just don't see Namco Bandai and especially not Atari investing alot of time and money into making deep dragon Ball game when the fans seem to be just a giddy to buy the annual fighting game with a hand full of new characters thrown in.

As for the movie, I'm not even going bother. I'm not even going to hope. I know it's going to be bad, I'm not going to waste my money or time on it.

I liked both, actually. Well, I thought Budokai 1 was alright, Budokai 2 was kinda lame aside from the introduction of cel shading in the series. Budokai 3 rocked and in my opinion is the best Dragon Ball game ever. Shin Budokai 1 and 2 were good aside from their fan fiction story modes.

I thought Burst Limit was good aside from those drama pieces. The game could have used more character and modes to.

And while I'm at it, I thought the Tenkaichi series was pretty lame. The first Tenkaichi was a pretty cool idea, but the second and third games never really fixed the issues from the first game. They just added more character. I will admit though, the Wii version of Tenkaichi 2 had pretty cool controls, but the novelty eventually wears off. And for some reason Spike decided to chew up and vomit those controls in Tenkaichi 3.

> Agreed those get annoying as hell. I don't like interruptions in my fight just to see Piccolos dumbass appear and say "YOU CAN DO IT HAH! and then go away.

I bought it this weekend at Wal-Mart for $19.99. Great game! One of the best DBZ games I've played.
