i just looked on Ubisoft.com and they had posted that assassains creed was rated M for blood, violence, and strong language. i have no problem with the violence and that but how did they swear in 1191 ad????? it just peaked my curiosity. cuz what do they say. i mean most people didnt really know the meanings of those words back then. they barely knew the meaning of anything. like i just want to know what they say. i can picture them saying hell but not F---- you mother F-----!

Moron, if you knew anything about the story you would know why it has strong language. This is a tiny spoiler, think of a time machine. Why do you think there is blue glows around everyone. At least know something before you post.

I ahave not played oblivion but all i thought was it was a little strange for a game set in 1191 ad to have strong language in it. oblivion is made up to and its set in a mythical world.

it's not like profanity is a modern invention. There were swear words in Ancient Egypt and most certainly during the middle ages (including the Crusades). The words themselves may not have been the F-bomb or whatever, but they had their equivalent. In order to get the feeling and nature of a bustling city wear you push random people down at times, I think swear words would for sure add to the realism and flavor the devs are trying to get across.

i thought they said he wasn't a time traveler

"On September 28, 2006, in an interview with IGN, producer Jade Raymond confirmed that Altaïr is "a medieval hitman with a mysterious past" and that he is not a time traveler" --off of wikipedia.....so could be real or not

Damn, I was hoping we were'nt going to have to bring out the whole obvious backstory lol. I started to figure this out by looking at the UI, very furutristic indeed.
