FINALLY....something we can agree on!!!!:P Even though AC is an excellent game in general, I still would choose Splinter Cell over all.
Spoken like a man that hasn't played Blacklist. So this vote really doesn't count. No offense.I like the Assassin's Creed series more than the Splinter Cell series.
And it really isn't even close.

No offense taken.
After all I'm not the one who looks like a fool right now for saying something that it totally untrue.;)

So you have played it...if not you are the one that is wrong my friend. Forget all the previous efforts on both sides...Blacklist is a better game all around than AC3...no question.I've never played a splinter cell game, but I don't doubt that blacklist is better than ac3. I just couldn't get into ac3 for the story, and revelations for the gameplay. The series has just gotten repetitive. However, I'm not sure any splinter cell game can top assassins creed 2, especially story wise. How are the splinter cell stories?
The latest one had a good story involving terrorism with enteresting twists and believable characters. I don't pick or play games for the stories involved... but I can assure you it was a lot better and more memorable than the AC3 story.

Furthermore, I have played Blacklist and I liked it, but not better than my favorite Assassin's Creed game, ACII. Â You mentioned ACIII, which I did not. Â Quite frankly I didn't like ACIII much at all. Â Not even enough to finish it.
As a whole I haven't enjoyed any Splinter Cell game more than ACII. Â I enjoy the AC series more than the SC series. Â I'm not right. Â You're not right. Â It's a matter of opinion.

I just stated my opinion and it just happens to be right so get over it.It's just quick banter, it's not hurting anybody and I'm havin fun smackin fools with poor taste down...so what... If you didn't play all of Splinter Cell Blacklist, Â then you didn't play the game. A lot of work went into those other modes, and together they made a game that was superior to any Assassin's Creed game ever produced. Without them, probably not. That is the difference and I only speak the truth. If you haven't played it..how would you know? Therefore..like any game reviewer...you are unqualified to render a decision until you do. THAT'S THE BOTTOM LINE cause HilbillyRokstar said so!
In my opinion up until this point the best Assassin's game has been 2. Assassins Creed 3 was good, but it suffered a few hitches that at times made the game almost unplayable. That is of course speaking from my experience, but that's not to say that 3 wasn't excellent because it was, but between multiplayer, and annual releases I feel that the Assassins Creed franchise has been compromised a great deal. Splinter Cell Blacklist is a good game, and I love the multiplayer, but just like conviction it's slipped out of the shadows into just a generic hide-n-seek, or guns blazing TPS. The first few games were when Splinter Cell was at it's best, but the last two games have left much to be desired. It's a good game, but it's not great. So with that in mind I would comfortably recommend that you try both to see what suits you best.
Finally...an intelligent response that included more than just the main story..or a generic response about past successes and failures. I respectfully disagree...due to the amount of fun in Blacklist co op...which I believe tips the scales in favor of Splinter Cell. I just didn't think the last couple of efforts from AC measured up in terms of bringing enough refreshment or improvement to the story or the game play.In my opinion up until this point the best Assassin's game has been 2.
