Assasins Creed Where Is the hype?

Most people are yping this game, but nothing really good has been released lately so not many people are talking about it. Also aparently they did one demo awhile ago that had a bunch of bugs in it and it killed the hype for a lot of people, but to me the game looks like a keeperScarface_tm431

it was one bug where a guy was floating and they fixed that the next day i dont know why everyone whines about that its E3 a early preview of games so expect bugs

anytime in the fall or early year is good to release games in my opinon because i just like playing them then

it looks good, and i'm interested in it.. but i need a demo (especially with all the other good games coming out around then)

the fighting system looks very simplistic to me.. it looks like you pretty much just press 1 button. that kinda bums me out. i hope it isn't like that, but from video's and stuff it looks like it is. so i'll definaltly want to try it before i buy it.

i think the sci-fi element is a good idea and want to see where they go with it and i have a feeling it will be a cliff hanger ending since their making 3 games

yeah no one hyping anything but halo 3 and im not personally interested in mass effect because im not a huge rpg fan unless it is pretty linear like oblivion for me there was too much to do

I agree, people were overreacting to a minor bug that was fixed the next day. As much as a dislike his sarcastic nature, Adam Sessler made an excellent point on a response to the bug.

I was very interested in Assassin's Creed when I first heard about it, and up until a few months ago I still was. However, as it gets near release I just can't see it standing up against all the other great games this year. Plus, reports of bugs and awkward controls make me wonder if I got way too excited for this.

Like I've been saying all year, if Assassin's Creed and/or Mass Effect don't live up to the hype, I've lost all faith in gaming :P.

This is a good point and exactly how I feel. Considering I've played a lot of Ubisoft's games(Rayman, Splinter Cell, and Prince of Persia)I know they can deliver and I'm pretty confident in saying that this game is going to be awesome.

Yeah I understand. Unfortunatly I'll have to wait till Xmass to get AC because I'm getting Mass Effect that week, but It looks to be an amazing game and I'm really excited for it (AC that is). 360 is really amazing me this holiday season, I just hope I have enough time to play al these games.

Ubisoft is at fault here. They'd rather whore out Jade Raymond to every news outlet to talk about how they aren't revealing anything instead of telling people what might be the real story behind the game. It's going to be such a letdown that it will overshadow the game when it finally comes out.

The game is less than a month out, and we know nothing more than we did E3 2005. The same dude running around on buildings, killing fools. If anything I've become LESS interested in the game since I first saw it over two years ago. Everything you see is exactly what the game is.
