I hope there isn't much repetitiveness such as flag collecting and too few variety of different missions as the first.

"Ubisoft's fiscal 2009-2010 will see the introduction of seven new franchise titles including Assassin's Creed 2, Splinter Cell: Conviction, a new Ghost Recon, Anno and the "unofficially" announced Red Steel 2." this does not mean assassin's creed 2 will be out at the end of this year..I hope there isn't much repetitiveness such as flag collecting and too few variety of different missions as the first.

It's coming out March of 2010 and that's straight from Ubisoft. Check Teamxbox.com, they have an article about it.nickdastickThat Sucks
Everytime I see "Proof" on these boards, it never really is. And most of the time it's wrong.
Let's hope it comes out in 2010, that way there's hope that it wont be another short/repetitive, content-lite game. I'll buy it when it comes out though, I did like the first one.
lawlessx, read the first paragraph.JDWolfieYes but those comments were made in an earnings call - which means to investors, and that usually means they are referring to financial years, not calendar years. There are also 2 ways to interpret "could be one of 2009's biggest games". Could is uncertainty, so it could/ couldn't be one of the biggest games, OR it could / couldn't be out in 2009. There has been other talk that Splinter Cell Conviction had been pushed back to 2010 so that's not a big surprise.
