Assassin's Creed... How long did it take you to finish?

I rent it for free with a coupon. I would like to know how long it takes to see i I should use my other coupon to finish it or if I can finish it in this rental period.

It's going to depend a lot on how many of the side missions you want to do. You can beat it within 10 hours, I've heard, if you straight for the assassinations. For me, it probably took close to twice that. I spent a bit of time exploring the various cities and holding off on the kills until I had done everything else aside from collecting the flags, which I may do later on if I'm bored.

About 10 hours.

Anyway it is a very short game. I think is better to hire it.

Thank you guys! What's the purpose of the flags and templars anyways? do you earn a different weapon or something or just for the sake of doing it?Aleperez75

It's just for achievements, which is why I'm not doing them. If there was a in-game incentive I definitely would, that's why I always did GTA missions where you have to find stuff :P

Guys I'm tempted to buy it but I need to resist it and keep using my rental coupons. The problem is that I think I won't be able to take advantage of everything in the game. Help me resist the temptation to buy it, hehehe.

It took me 10 days. I was climbing viewpoints, saving citizens and doing 1 assassination a day in each district. Took me a while that way and got my moneys worth. Thank god for achievements or else I would have rushed through this game and wouldn't have enjoyed it as much. Dabbagins

thats y i like the achivements, makes the game more enjoyable and sometimes challenging.

One assassination a day for me also and im still looking for the flags and templars and enjoying myself while doing it. I just put some music on.....put in my headphones....and go on a rampage while searching.

You must really like the game then. I enjoyed it very much myself but i'm too lazy to run around and find all the templars and flags. Those were the only achievements I missed during my first playthrough except the flags in masyaf. Those were pretty easy to find on my own since there were only 20. But ya it should take you a while to find all the templars and flags specially if your not using a strategy guide. Good luck on your journey. :) and say hi to Kenshin. He rules!
