Assassin's Creed or Mass Effect?

look i know they are not in the same genre but which one looks more impressive and therefore which one should I consider getting first. 2 great games can't decide

If you don't have the money to get them both, but those are the two choices, I would just rent them first.

I'm looking forward to both but I think I might get AC first since the gameplay seems to be fairly unique. My faith in RPG's has been shaken a bit since I was disappointed in Bioshock after looking forward to it so much.

I'm going to say mass effect because while assasins creed looks good, Graphically and gamplay wise Mass Effect just looks better.

i still will prolly get both though

I'll probably get both and I'm excited about each for different reasons. AC: Cool setting and graphics, lots of action, running up buildings looks awesome and fluid. Seems like a game for a quick fix. Mass Effect: Seems like a better value considering it will probably take a lot of hours to finish it. The conversation system looks sweet.

Will most likely buy both, beat Assassin's Creed in like 3 days, then play Mass Effect for 3 months.

I really can't decide, Mass Effect is way more open than even Assassin's Creed, with gorgeous graphics and a compelling storyline, but the combat looks REALLY Meh IMO, Assassin's Creed isn't as open, and probably not as long, but the combat looks awesome.

dude wow thats a hard decision but i have to go with assassin's creed just cause i've been anticipating it for a long time now...

Well i have been hyped for Assassins Creed since Jan. when i came across a video of it on youtube by accident. After that, this game has had me captivated since then.

Mass Effect looks just downright superb, although i havent been as hyped about this game as i have with AC, i will absolutely give this game a look.I mean its a shooter, but its also a RPG, thats a fantastic combination...

As for me, i will get Assassins Creed first, then ill give Mass Effect a go...

Coincidentally they will be released at the same date. Based from the information I received from stores in Australia. Just get them both, they're both good. Personally I think it was a bad idea that you made a post asking it when they both are a must have title.

but mass effect also looks promising

I'd take Assassin's Effect over Mass Creed any day. :)

Okay, it's not really the combat as it is the enemy AI, in nearly every vid, they simply stand and shoot if they have guns, where you can easily target them and kill them. The combat, and the ways you kill people looks fantastic actually, but most of the enemies look stupid. If you don't think so, go watch some videos yourself man. The things that crawl on walls look the most interesting and fun to fight, but that's it really. I mean, I know we haven't seen hardly any enemies yet, but they don't seem too smart from what I've seen.jamejame

Hmm maybe that was just a graphic/physic/etc showcase vid? The ones i have been looking at the enemies have been behaving pretty well strategically. Except when they are oblitterated before they are able to do anything :D

I wont be able to afford both of them, especially now that Halo 3 is coming and Pro Evo :(
