Hey, I want to play a really great single player game on the 360 right now. After beating SMG, I feel the need to play another great game, so after looking through all the recent games, I've come down to AC or ME. Which honestly, is a rather tough choice for me. Now despite their score differences, I still find lots of reasons to get ME compare to AC. I love the idea of making decisions that can impact a game, and I enjoy action RPG's so I think ME would be great for me. On the other hand, I also enjoy games based off of history, and the idea of "social stealth" really appeals to me.

As for cons of both, they seem to be pretty similar in my opinion. ME seems to suffer from some technical glitches while AC apparently suffers from mediocre AI and some control issues, so I don't really know which is better.

So me, being an undecisive person that I am, ask you guys your opinion, as to which game is better for its worth, more appealing, and a better buy in general?:)

Oh, and I can't buy both, as much as I would love to. :P

I have both. Both are awesome. Though Mass Effect *is* better. It is also longer. ME is going down as one of my favourite games of all time. Assassin's Creed is very good, I'd get it in the long run if I were you.

Yeah, so far, I leaning towards ME mainly because it seems to have much more replay value than AC, and since I'm short on cash right now, a game that I can replay 2 or 3 times seems to be a good choice right now.

Since you mentioned low money, i would recomend Mass Effect because of the length and costumizability which provides tons of replay value.I enjoy Assassins creed's pace and combat more(though most peopledon't like the combat). I think assassins creed can wait because it is part of a trilogy, thus the story won't flesh out entirely; and mass effect's story can stand alone.

your problem is identiical to mine, but I hae chosen Mass Effect. There is so much more to explore and do. It seems like a more originial expericene that AC.

I'd go with Mass Effect, it's a lot of fun, there's a lot more to do, and the story is rather epic. Assassin's Creed is solid, but has a few problems; more than Mass Effect from what I've experienced.

I own both and they are two great games, but without a doubt im having more fun with mass effect, its just an unreal experience.

So if you can just get one then get Mass Effect.. but do get assassins creed later or rent it at least cuz its a great game to.

I had a similar dilemma a few days ago. I chose Assassin's Creed. I'm going to leave Mass Effect untill christmas probably just because I can't think of anything I really want and Mass Effect would be something worth getting.

I'm actually trying to choose which one game to buy, Assassin's Creed or Mass Effect. I don't know why, but right now I seem to be leaning more towards to Assassin's Creed. I'm not sure why but I don't really feellike a long, slow story-line similar toKotOR(don't get me wrong, I had and finished both Knights of the Old Republic and I loved playing them).

I have both, and my opinion is to do the same. If you're short on cash, get Mass Effect first. Both are phenomenal, but Mass Effect is a better value, per se. And will let you save up the cash to get AC later on.
