I bought AC back when it came out last year, and it has sat on my shelf until recently. There were so many games that came out just before the holiday, plus all the traveling etc I just didnt have time to get to it.

For some reason I recently decided I was going to play the game through, and I have to tell you this may be one of my all time favorite games. The graphics aren't technically the best in the world, but the attention to detail is utterly amazing. I mean the size of the game and world, the cities, the rooftops, buildings, the climbing supported via graphics, just beautiful.

I am also loving the gameplay more than I ever thought. Once you figure out the mechanics, it took me til the 3rd city before things clicked and I am loving the gameplay. The weapon system is clean and concisce, easy to pickup but not exactly easy to use. I am having so much fun with the mechanics of this game, I would say it may be my favorite game of all time.

For all of those post asking is AC worth it to buy, yes it is, but you will need to invest a little time into the game before you start to see how beautiful and well constructed the game is.

It's definitely one of the best looking games around. The engineering in this game is so fluid, and Altair can climb just about anything he puts his hands on. Although, no replay value, except for collecting flags and saving civilians, it doesnt leave you with much to want to play a second time through. But a great title, nonetheless.

uh yea that sytem is easy to master... i brought it over to my friends house and two of them had never played the game before or played a 360.. they both mastered counter/the system in less than 5 minutes

but I agree this game was really good...for like 30 minutes... after that I realised there wasn't else much to master and it was just a mediocre boring time trying to complete it

Yeah, but until you unlock the counter-attack, fighting is a deadly chore.

I figured out pretty early that the counter system makes it easy, but the 2 kill combo is no where as easy to land. I try using it more than the counter system, unless I am overwhelmed or low on health.

I rarely run, so I end up fighting between 6 - 8 opponents at once, its a blast.

There is a repititive nature to the gameplay, but that can be said about every game, which is what makes it so funny when people say that.

Its actually refreshing to play a game where you dont have to constantly switch weapons out to try and "upgrade" your weapon.

There is so much to this game, but it seems to get lost on people. The AI is very good, and I am not just talking about fight AI, the game environment just feels alive. I love to just grab a ledge and listen to the crowd comment on how crazy I must be, or if I get hurt they wont be helping me. Also ever jump into the middle of crowd? Their reaction is awesome.

This game breaks ground in so many ways, but subtle ways, I look forward to how this will enhance games to come.

I spent 7 hours looking for the last templar in Kingdom. Eventually got it to complete the game 1000/1000. :)

It's my favourite single player game. So interactive and 'fluid' as someone put it best above. The beggars are so damn annoying though!

Yea.,.. It's a great game... i love to use my wrist blade to kill like 12 ppl :P its awsome. I like how it takes you back then with Saladin and Lion Heart!(reminds me of Age of Empires in ways.) Its wonderfull and all but is it true that you can get a Cross bow? like in the movie your character has one but in the game you don't. Do you have to like unlock all the other achievments to get it? - My bro has been wondering that for sometime now.
