Assassins creed time line

i have noticed the assassins creed games take place during major events in history

assassins creed- The crusades

assassins creed 2-italian renaissance

Where should assassins creed 3 take place im thinking the colonization of the new world. I think it would be an intresting idea. So what are your ideas? It has to take place after the renaissance

It'll most likely be 2012 with you playing as Desmond Miles the whole game trying to stop Abstergo and the Templars from using the Pieces of Eden.

Also, every game has technically taken place in 2012, it's just that most of the games you're inside the Animus. Just pointing that out.

Well maybe they won't do one that is more recent then 15th century Italy. If they do I think it would be awesome to dodge musket bullets in the Revolutionary War.

I don't think having a game in 2012 really is much of a problem. It would just have to become much more focused on stealth. Obviously tanking in that time would be impossible like the old games. Or someone needs to learn how to deflect bullets lol.

They could always jump ahead another couple hundreds of years with the start of the Industrial Revolution (in Britain though, not America). There could definitely be some cool assassin tools.
