Assassins Creed vs Halo 3

Hes basically asking which game is more epic and succesful to its fans.

I think its hard to compare a third person game using swords to a 1st person shooter. Plus since Assassins Creed is the first of the trilogy, it hasn't had a chance to gather fans. Since Halo 3 is the 3rd in it's trilogy, it's got the advantage, but on the other hand, you can't compare the first Halo to Assassins Creed because its a lot older. So I think it's just better to say they're both good games in different ways.

see it s not really comparing themm it is just choosing what you think is better and another reason a like AC better is because you can do anything climb and buliding get in fights wuith everyone it is a lot like real life like if people see you climbing a building they will get suspicous very realistic

how were they disapointing halo 3 was probably the best of the series and AC is starting of the triliogy and its amazing how is it disapointing

This is a tough one for me...i hate them both :lol:

But if ihad to pick one i would definitely recommend Halo3, as for AC out selling Halo...i don't think so.1st one sold well because people didn't know how crap it was and the whole crusades era thing...next will take place in modern times and will be another one of the generic stealth game.at most i'll rent the next two.

i wonder how it would be if the master chief yoused knifes like altiar except without his aromer i cant imagine him without guns and armor

Halo 3 was a dissapointment to many people, because it was overhyped. It was however the last in arguably the best FPS series ever made, so it would have been incredibly difficult to actually live up to its hype.

Assassin's Creed was a dissapointment to many, myself included, because it was overhyped, and despite really good gameplay/controls/other stuff, was completely let down by being the same damn thing 9 times, and having a storyline that to me at least, left no impression or desire to play any sequels.

Halo 1 was touted as being "the best shooter ever made" when it came out, I have heard no such praise of AC.

I could go on: Characters, Online etc. but for fear of becoming any more boring, i will end with this:

its hard to compare them but i would go for assassins creed. assassins creed is the first game in the trilogy and i think it has a bright future. halo 3 was nothing special. dont get me wrong its a good game but i expected more from halo 3.patsfan4liferjn

i feel the same way....towards assassins creed, AC was such a big letdown for me in 07...

I know that halo might be the best game series ever made but AC has a chance to top it is suppost to be a trilogy and AC is probably my favorite game ever but i still think halo 3 destroys.Gearhead95

It's hard to compare them for what they are because they are entirely different games in almost every way. But technically I would have to say Assassin's Creed is much more impressive with its massive cities and open world as opposed to Halo's linear (although pretty) world. The animations in AC are also straight up amazing, Halo can't even compete there. Plus I find AC to be much more enjoyable on the whole than Halo, and the story in AC is unquestionably better than that of Halo. I know this is blasphemy to a lot of you, but Halo just is not that impressive technically or in any other department. It's really just a great example of a good game that never quite reached its full potential instead of a true classic IMO. That's my two cents worth anyway.

AC sp combat and game play was better but it is very repetitive and has little replay ability. Halo 3 was higher replay ability even with out multiplayer cause of co-op. With multiplayer Halo3 is way better as a package.

How can you compare??? Assassin's Creed is way better :P but seriously those games are totally different!
