Assassin's Creed was just a little over-hyped.

I can REALLY see where the repetitiveness kicks in. Only after the second assassination, it's kind of getting a little old. I mean, don't get me wrong, but they only true differences were the cities and targets you were killing. It's fun, but repetitive. Hopefully it'll get better.

Yeah, I agree, I haven't beaten it yet, but it is repetitive, and there's notreally much you can do. I think maybe once and a while I'll come back to it, but it's not something you can keep playing without thinking, "Again?" It's still a new open sandbox-type game concept though, except it could have had so much more potential.

Give credit to the marketing people though, they made this game a best seller, even though it's not all it's cracked up to be.

I totally agree... Marketing did an amazing job over hyping this game.

Pretty dissapointing. I had it on my xmas list until I saw reviews (excluding Gamespot). 5/10 from X360 mag totally put me off.

I never hyped it, but I'm having fun. Much less repetitive (and much better) than say... Gears of War?

I didn't mind the repetitiveness because it just gave you a challenge before they would give you another piece to the puzzle (story). Also there is some diversity like some targets are easily stealthed others take a lot more work if you want to stealth them.

I really enjoy the game, but it does get repetitive and is mostly eye candy. I think the only reason the repetition doesn't bore me to tears is because I grew up playing video games that were totally repeptitive, with each level just being a harder version than the one before. I do think this game has a lot of unused potential; hopefully they will rectify that in the sequel.

My sister got the game and she's playing it through on my profile (yay! Free achievements!) and it hurts me just to watch. I'm always thinking: Again? Getting from point A to B can take soooo long on the later levels and constantly running and hiding from the guards drives me nuts.... and i have barely played it myself! However, i do want to see the rest of the story.

The graphics is sickenin, the gameplay is sickenin but the swordfight and assasinations are repetitive.

This is Assasin's creed:

-Climbing atalayas

-Saving some dudes

-Kill some guards

-Kill your target

....I think you are done, repeat that a few times and you beat the game.

Well then, heres my view on things...

COD 4, Halo 3, Gears etc:

-Walk a little

-get objective

-shoot some dudes

-maybe drive a vehicle for 5 min.

-reload

-shoot some more

-get new objective

yea, that's not repetitive at all, and the worst part is you're on this linear path from point a to b. Atleast you get to explore the city and have some diversity in the objectives beside run, shoot, reload, shoot, run etc...This is actually one opf the least repetitive games on the 360. A game like hexic hd, or tetris...now that's repetitive.

X360 UK, meh, like james said it was really over reviewed, much like Halo, but this was serious. At least X360 was honest and said it was poorly constructed and dissapointing. I've been reading many reviews on this, and this actually was the most trustworthy.
