I really enjoyed Assassin's Creed, but I've always felt that I'm in the minority. You can check my review if you want an in-depth analysis, but the long and short of it is that it is a deeply flawed and repetitive game, but is easily one of my best "next gen" experiences. The graphics and animations are unbelievable, and the way your character interacts with the environment is completely unlike anything you've ever seen/played before. I would recommend it for purchase, but I could definitely see why someone wouldn't like it.

It's probably in the neighborhood of 12-15 hours if you do the minimum missions. It can easily take upwards of 20 hours for relative completists (not counting the flags... who cares about finding random flags? Oh, right, achievements.).

i'm not suprised that it's only $30, after playing it i think it's only worth $10.

it's just the same thing over and over but if you want to buy it and try it out, go ahead.

I definately would not recomend it. All the assassination missions are the same (kill the guy and get backk to the safe house) with very long and boring pointless laboratory scenes between them. But, it's up to you.

I enjoyed the game it was fun but I agree with the rest of the people here that say it is quite repetitive. The assasination missions are similar but the new areas and enemies more than make up for the lack of novelty in my eyes. Overall the game is a good play and the story is quite good but the fact it is repetitive does hinder its replayability. I would say buy it and take the time you need. It is quite a long game if you are a completionist.

Yes, that game is so much fun. I brought my 360 to my friends house and my other friend brought Assasins creed. The hidden blade is so much fun, just because its repetetive doesn't meen its boring. Counter moves look awesome and the first time you see leap of faith...its like wow! I played for about 1hour slaying gaurds and pouncing on civilians. Definatly worth $30. I also doubted Assasins creed when in first came out with all the negative reviews, (except for GS) But yeah i actually got to play it, and it was badass

If you really want to play it bad, I'd say buy it. It's pretty repititive so know what you're getting in to.

Just rent it. It's highly repetitive but you will be able to get a decent ammount of achievement points for it.

dont buy it its a very very good game. but once you beat it once theres no reason to play it again. unless your an achievement whore and want to waste time getting 1000 gs.

Yes, because it's a fantastic engaging game with multiple ways to complete your missions (yeah, great, lazy people use one method and stick to it, not the game's fault.), great story too, unique artstyle, many other great things.

But yeah, it doesn't have online, and it's not dumbed down to a "halo" level, so, people hate it.

Honestly I think the game's worth something more around $20. I'm glad I got it as a gift and didn't have to pay for it myself.
