Assassin's Creed...nobody worried?

I was looking at the board and i see lots of people are excited about this game.

I remember i cou;ldn't wait for thios game when it was unveiled at E3 a 2 or 3 years ago

BUt as the time passed and following all the previews on the game and a fiew podcasts i cannot help to

feel that the game might not be as great as it was supposed to be...not bad by any means just not awesome.

Did you read the preview on GS?Not once Brad sounded like he couldnb;t wait to play the final product.

What do you guys think?

Well Jade Raymond has already stated there will be a minimum of 18 hours gameplay - which is fairly good for that type of game. I think it's easy to have doubts when everyone is getting so hyped about this game. It's got a lot to live up to. But I'm happy to give it a chance before I start making any judgement calls.

Agreed. This is my only concern. Other than that the game should be damn near perfect.

I heard the story and some of the gameplay elements, like not being able to jump from buildings (it does it automatically), are weak. So, yea, i am worried. I think it might end up being an 8 rather than the 9.5 i was hoping for. Unfortunately, on a side note, Kane and Lynch appears to have turned out mediocre as well, with a 3/5 from gamepro. Oh well, i was hoping that all these new titles to be amazing. callen3

Do not get me wrong when i saw this game 3 years ago i said ok NOw i gotta buy a PS3 (wich i did buy) but i just have a bad feeling and i so hope i am wrong.

You know, I could care less about the sci-fi or DNA elements to the story or whatever. Just take a step back and look at the game. It looks freaking cool and different. People on this board are always complaining that there are too many FPS's on the 360. Well this is far from it. Don't be afraid to try something new.msjr78

I played and loved the 3 prince of Persia and i really enjoy many 3rd person action-adventure

I am not worried i might not like the formula i know i will but different and great are not the same

For example right now i am playing and really enjoying Zack and Wiki on Wii...talk about different :)

No, not really. I've enjoyed every Hitman game (since it first appeared on the PC) and Freedom Fighters. I've been looking forward to K&L for awhile now, so I'm pretty sure I know what to expect. I can't speak for anyone else and probably shouldn't, so yeah, let me rephrase that: it will be a great game for me. And really that's all the matters to me. :wink:

slightly worried about the combat but after reading the comic which got leaked google it, the story sounds awesome warning the comic contains spoilers

Believe me i ama gamer i hope every game on every system is going to be great so i get the chance to play it sooner or later.

I have paid off both Mass Effect, Call of Duty 4... but I have not paid off my Assassins pre-order. Why is that you ask? I'm worried about the game.

It's sad really, Ubisoft Montreal is one of my favorite game developers.

yeah she is, and so far i am still skeptical about AC as well, will definitely rent it though.

I always thought the game looked good, but for some reason I just don't have a lot of faith in Ubisoft - I don't have any reasoning behind it really. I just never really liked a lot of Ubisoft games.Cwagmire21
