Hi,

Wonder if anyone has been able to manage this.

As the hard drives on the slim are in it's own casing allowing SATA/Power connections I have tried to connect this to my PC (Windows 7 64bit) and it does recognise it but the problem is that Disk Management is asking for the following:

"You must initialise a disk before Logical Disk Manager can access it"

It gives me two options, either select MBR or GPT.

The reason I'm connecting it to my PC is because I'm trying to get the NFL 2k5 roster update onto my hard disk which has the saves stored for the game already.

Any ideas?

I think you're going to have to find a program that can read the xbox HDD and put files into it, you wont be able to do it normally as if it was a regular hdd. Try searching for something called usb xtaf and a guide to use it. I used to use it to update my nba roster files

I could be wrong here but isn't there a way to get updates and such to your 360/HDD through a USB flash drive? I would think that would be easier than trying to connect your HDD to your computer.

Sounds like an interesting experiment, Keep us appraised of your findings. Since you have 2 choices... a 50/50 chance of success.
