I just came back from exchanging my wireless mic, good thing I had the extended warranty as it was replaced on the spot no questions. This is the third one I get in the last year. The same problem happened with the last two I bought, one day it just wouldn't charge anymore, and once the final charge ran out the mic was finished. The last one only lasted 2 weeks lol. I think I know what caused this, and thought I would mention it here, now this may or may not be the cause I don't know, but it seems that charging the mic through a PC USB port might have been the cause. But more to the point, it seems that if you are charging the mic and after turning off your PC you leave it plugged in the port this is what causes the problem. I know this now because it happened with both my last 2 mics I was charging it on the PC and turned it off to go to bed but forgot the mic charging...next morning it wouldn't charge anymore. This can't be a coincidence, and maybe my PC is messed up who knows. I don't think I'm at fault though because I'm sure it was intended for it to be charged on a PC and there are no warnings in the manual that say otherwise(I think). Regardless, I'm playing it safe with this 3rd one and will just use the 360 USB. If you value your money maybe you might wanna do the same to be on the safe side.

On a side note, I'd like to say that other than this problem the mic is just awesome and way better than the wired one. Much clearer and louder speaker, and wireless of course with an astonishing range(2 floors down in the basement and I could still chat with people!).

I'm guessing charging with a PC USB Port would break it, considering it's the Xbox 360 Wireless mic, but oh well

I agree the Wireless Mic is better. I like the way if cushions around the ears. It makes those late-night Burnout Paradise sessions all that more enjoyable

Why would it be any different? the xbox usb is essentially the same as the one on your comp. Otherwise it would damage the Ipods and such that you ARE suppose to be able to use on the 360.

True... But I've never tried my iPod on my 360; I buy all my music so it wouldn't work anyways. I just burn CD's and rip 'em straight to the HDD

Actually you cant copy the music over from external drives anyway. You can just play them. What does haveing an Ipod have to do with if the music is purchased or not? Ever heard of Itunes?

thats weird that its different in pc then the 360 but i sapose it kind of makes sence,i know that the 360 continues putting power through to its usb ports when turned off, does a pc do that?
