Avatar Awards Have Been Unlocked! Rejoice

With the arrival of Halo Waypoint (for those in the beta program) the avatar awards are now online

That means Splosion Man (the FIRST game with them) unlocks content and Halo Waypoint does as well depending on your career progress so far

Also anyone want to see if you get the awards if you're not in the beta program and I'll edit this?

EDIT: You don't need to be involved in the beta to get rewards. Games are giving rewards for everyone so if you have Splosion Man then start it up and grab some clothes

One of the things it does is read all your career achievements from all the Halo games and then ranks you overall

I got a few from that and then the ones from Splosion Man as soon as I started up the game

So for people without the beta they'd need to start up Splosion Man and see

Shadow Complex also has Avatar Awards, I think. I don't think they're easy to obtain though.atm0073

Whole bunch of stuff. So far I have a hoodie and a t shirt and a flying orb that goes around my avatar

I take it you have most of the acheivements in Halo. I got like 75 GS from Halo 3 and have yet to get ODST.

I've been debating to get Splosion Man, but if there are rewards I might get it just for those.

Edit: NVM on the 75GS from Halo 3, just realized I only have 15GS from it :D

Awesome, too bad I can't get on my xbox till Monday, but it's good to know Avatar Awards finally came through, looking forward to my Splosion Man rewards. :D

If you want to see what they look like, there are a few youtube videos that have them.. On the off note, my sig avatar has the full body suit you receive for unlocking the "Good Samaritan" ODST achievement I believe.

If you didn't sign up/get chosen to test the current beta update, you'll have to wait until the public release. I think it's November 5th or something:roll:

It's about time something is giving out Avatar Awards. I hope more games do this. I'd rather get my useless avatar clothes for free than have to pay for them.
