avp 3 high expectations..

just got it and finished playing through alien campaign and it was like three hours.. so disapointed. the controls werent AS horrible as ppl said the were. overall dissapointed. what did u expect and didnt or did get from avp?

Well... imo Avp 2 was the best avp game. Monolith should have developed this one too... But thats just my opinion anyway.

Rebellion has gone down the toilet. They aren't nearly as awesome as they used to be.

I dont get it what do people expect playing as an Alien? Your not going to get a steller story. My only gripe is that it ended way to quick. I'm still enjoying the game though. Its a blast playing all 3 species in MP and survival mode is awesome.

I'm over halfway through with the Marine SP campaign, 40% on the alien, and just starting the Predator SP campaign. Everyone has something to complain about because everyone wants to see AVP done their way, but I'm just glad to have a game to play! The single player is nothing crazy or innovative but fun, but I have been having a blast on the multiplayer! I have about 12 hours under my belt (level 17? about) and I love Species TDM and domination. I think that's where the real fun and value lies. Gamespot review was terrible of this game, and the controls are fine once you get used to them.

I don't find the game to be horrible, just meh.

Of course it's only three hours. There are three of them. All around 3-4 on Hard setting. I personally enjoy the game a lot. Not 60 dollars good, but for a rent? Definitely.

ya ur rite. another issue i have is i couldnt find any matches online. that was pretty diapointing.
