Awesome moment (very mild Gears Spoilers)

I know I'm a little late, but I just got Gears of War for christmas. First off, its a great game. But there was one moment in it that really stood out for me.

My buddy was over and we we're playing co-op. About half way through the thirdact there was a park with a small barricade on our end, and about 30 locuston the other side. As we approached the park, all the locust poped up and got ready, and my friend and I, without a word,simultaniously smashed our backs into the barricade andlooked over the top guns ready.

That moment in the game really said alot to me, Heres two guys (Dom and Marcus) fighting a losingbattle, with half their planet distroyed,most of the population dead and these giant, scary, angry, creatures ready to tear them in half, who still, without complaint, without any sign of fear just get right into it and smash into the barricade, ready for the fight.

I know its just a game, and that all this dosn't really mean anything, and if my buddy and I had done anything differently at that exact time, It wouldn't of had the same impact. but this really drew me into the game and I'd thought I'd share it.

Anyone else have any awesome moments in their gaming?

Outrun2, when I finished the 15 course race n the very last second.

I've been concentrated for about 15 minutes. I didn't even blink once. Sweat driping on my body, shivers down my spine, the adrenalin shot, tears coming from my eyes.

I started shouting "F**KING S**T HORSE" when there were 10 seconds left until the race was over at te very last second. I jumped and oh the joy.

It may seem stupid, but was one of the best gaming experiences ever.
