I've noticed a lot of backwards compatible games play like crap. Fable and Ninja gaiden have some serious frame rate drops during any kind of action. Halo seems fine tho. Anyone else notice this?
IGN did a report on this. They tested all of the games on the BC list. Ninja Gaiden was one of the games that they mentioned as having a lot of lag. This is why I kept my old Xbox. I don't know if you had an Xbox, or if you sold it. If you did sell it, was it worth the $70 that you got for it to be going through all of these BC woes?
Yeah, the backwards compatibility is pretty flaky. Some games play fine, while some have problems ranging from frame rate drops, to operational errors so severe the game is unplayable (SSX3).
Yeah, my Xbox broke November 11th, so I can't play some of the games I own... The gay part is is that I bought Battlefront 2 the day it came out & I still never got to play it... But the weirdest part was that My Xbox's Manufacturing date was 2001-11-11 (November 11th...) & it broke november 11th in 2005...
Yeah, I bought Ninja Gaiden Black for the first time and played it on the 360. A lot of areas, specifically on the streets of Tairon, has a lot of damn lag. Its like your running in slow motion. Its annoying, but most of the game is fine.
I'm sure they will fix the emulators eventually. The only reason people are wanting them so badly right now is because there isn't a ton of new games to play. I'm sure it won't be a huge worry after the games begin to take off. In half a flippin' year. But until then keep making an uproar. I'm with you
