So I just got Splinter Cell Double Agent for the original Xbox cuz I heard it was better than the 360 version. I boot it up on my 360 and try to play splitscreen co-op, but that option is blacked out. The only other options are Xbox live (which for original xbox games doesn't work anymore) and system link. Anyone know why they removed co-op from backwards compatible games? Or is there still a way to make it work?

Thats probably because they cut original xbox live support a year ago.

Are you saying that missing Xbox Live removes offline features? Now I have no idea if Splinter Cell has to connect to Xbox Live to do local co-op (that would make no sense).
