bad company 2 Stats problem

is anyone else having problems with their bc2 stats...the game says im a level 7 when i clearly have enough xp to be a level 8....also is it true that peoples stats have been getting reset for no reason at all

happened to me but got fixed. It said i was level 22 going to level 22, i had more than enough experience.
