The only car you can drive while in showdown town is the trolly. After beating grungy in certain battles throughout the game you unlock upgrades to the trolly. Im pretty certain that you cannot drive any other vehicle besides this.

i no but wen u get the upgrade how do u get the upgrades in the town
u get upgrades from the collecting boxes from showdown town. u find boxes through out the town they are hidden everywhere. u bring it to the repair place to get it unlocked.
The parts will automaticly be on your trolley after a grunty fight. The floater makes it so you do not sink when you go into water (you don't need to press anything), and there sould be button commands in the upper right corner of the screen where one of them lets you use the spring.

To get to the picture for Click Clock Woods, you have to swim through the water kind of near the entrence to Treasure Trove Cove. (not the room with the entance chest in it, but right before that.)
