Im not getting either one cuz im too busy playing GoW2 and will be busier playing Left 4 Dead,though I'd prefer COD5,already played the beta which is fun, I tried the demo for Banjo and it's not that great.
I agree with the people that said Banjo for different reasons.
1) The game itself is an "in your face, Nintendo" game for anyone following the console wars. If you want to stick it to Nintendo by buying a game that they no longer have the rights to and can only wish they still had on their console, this is the game to buy. It's Microsofts way of saying "screw you, we can make platform games with cute characters too".
2) How many more FPSs and RPGs do we need?
3) How man more Call of Dutys do we need, in general?

So true what is it with all these lamers thinking a game has to blood in order to be fun. But i had fun playing COD5 as well but theres no reason a family game like Banjo can't be game of the year either just because it's not a shooter.
