I was recently at kotaku.com and they said Banjo 3 will not be a shooter, nor will it be a traditional platformer. What does that mean? Will we have an action adventure like game with Banjo, or possibly an RTS? link: www.kotaku.com

I don't think it will do very well if it is not a platformer, I still wish Rare was with Nintendo, but whatever.

stop crying. conker's wasn't really a traditional platformer and it was still amazing. rare added alot of different elements to it and it made it better.

They said it wont be a traditional platformer, so they'll probably try and do something new with the genre, which is commendable and hopefully it will work.

i love Rare, probably the best Devs of the late 90's hands down, im not sure if the Banjo style will translate well to next-gen though, i will still buy it just to pay homage :)

Don't take anything RARE says seriously. its a platformer. It's just innovative.

Seriously, do you guys know what RARE says. They've made jokes about their games getting cancelled, games coming out that werent, making a rpg, so much british humor, and so much crazy crap.

They are the quiet wierdos of the gaming world- my favorite dev personality, by far
