does anybody knows if this promotion is valid in the US or just Canada?

I'm not sure if the deal is also in the US. You could try calling EB or your local wal-mart. It's a really great deal I just pre-ordered a copy yesterday.

Aha.. wow. I saw that price advertised when I fired up my Xbox, but I assumed it was a US price. I guess that makes no sense now since we get Canadian ads and promotions through the console... that is a sweet price :D The ad I saw had it advertised at that price at Walmart.

i just did. the offer is not valid in the US. just canada only.

ok heres what happened....Best Buy advertised for $39.99 in one of their flyers by accident (was supposed to say $69.99). Wally world got wind of that and had to one up them and put their price to $38 an change. After it was advertised they have no choice but to sell it for that price. so win win for all of us money out of wal marts pockets
