2 Questions: 1_ Who isnt getting this game

2_ i was watching a vid from the game it said that u get all the weapons available right from the start. Who also thinks that this is a bad idea and that it should be like Battlefield 2 and that every time u rank up u get 2 new weaps.

You have to remember that this is just an arcade title, so I wouldn't expect too much depth in terms of unlocks and customization.

All I know is that Battlefield 1942 is one of my all-time favourite shooters and to see it get it remade, albeit stripped down, is a personal wet dream coming true.

i completely agree!!! i cant wait for this... 1942 is my fav online shooter for pc. and to see it remade like this is just awesome. i was discussing the fact that i was hoping they would make 1942 for the 360 and now they are... even though it doesnt have everything in it.

Yes this game is going to be similar to 1942, but I never played that one before (My first Battlefield game was BF2)

It's likely going to be cheap to justify it's lack of single player, and it's simularity to BF1942, if it's 20-30$ I would defidently buy it. I don't give a damn about single player unless a game entirely focuses on it. Because in the end single player isn't what your playing.

I do disagree with making every weapon available at the start, but it is just an arcade game. That make's me feel I don't have to commit and just jump in a fun multiplayer game. One of the major problems of Bad Company Multiplayer was that it focused too much on an mediocre single player and voice communication was worthless because you can only chat with 4 people in your squad, which seldomly helped you unless you're lucky enough to have friends/or just other people that have mics.

3)If I remember correctly, BF Bad Company wouldn't let you go prone. They'd better not continue that trend to this game.

Hmm, I will probably get BF 1943 when I can, don't have any MS points as of now, but it sounds like this is a 15$ Halo-quality game, so I'll give it a shot.

Bad Company saw 2 free DLC packages, so i wouldn't be surprised if free map packs were released for 1943.

I will try befor I buy, but the only Battlefield game that I did not buy was 2142.

Hell yeah I am getting it. It is not the game that alot of you want it to be, and you will be dissapointed. It is an arcade game, and it still looks like a hell of alot of fun.

im so going to get this game, been a fan of the battlefield series since 1942. bad company was rubbish, but i hope this one is better..

1942 was awesome, especially the fact that you could pilot planes and drive tanks, that was a dream come true for me back in the day.

To answer your first question, I'm not getting it.

Shooters are taking over the second half of the year.
