Battlefield: 1943

saw that this was going to be released soon but as i only have a 20Gb hardrive, i curious to know how many gigs this download will take up. thanks

Nope, i believe it is only between 300-500 Mb, heard it in an interview.

@ Above poster..How do you know it comes out in September? A release date has not been confrimed, and if anything it would come out in a month or so because they just need to get some certification or something.

Can't wait for 1943, though I hadn't thought of the hard drive usage. I should really upgrade from my 20 gig. Also does anyone know how many maps are going to be in the game? I know it's supposed to be a remake of sorts of 1942 but I'm going to assume only a few of the maps from that game will be in the finished product.creeping-deth87

yeah, i also heard the price ha been dropped from 1600MS points to 1200 which is really good of them to do :)

If you watch the E3 stage demo the president or whoever explaines it all. The game is completed, but they have to get it published by Microsoft and Sony. So it will probably be released in a few weeks. Its 1200 microsft points, 550 mb and its strictly multiplayer with 3 maps at launch. And after 43 milion kills a 4th map (coaral sea) will be released.

I watched an interview on XBL with the creator last week and he said it was 1200 MS points and about 800mb. and yeah MyFingerPoints is right about the 3 maps at launch but then after 43,000,000 kills (which the creators think will take roughly 1 - 2 weeks to get) everyone will get Coral Sea, a 4th map.Hotwire246
