people do still play but its getting old. its only got a few maps and they never did release any more. If it had more maps id go back to playing and im sure others would too. I wouldnt be to worried about not finding a full match at this point. I still pop it from time to time to see whats going on and its always being played. I do get the feeling its becoming a dead game though.
I love the game to be honest and have put many hours into it. It still has a great community and is the best multiplayer arcade game on live. There's lots of fun to be had and you'll probably run into me sometime soon if you get it.
there are plenty of people playing it but I dont see that holding out for much longer due to the stupid lack of support by the devs, in all the time its been out they havent so much as accounced a map pack so the original 3 maps are all there are so it might get boring after a while
It is a great game :), but yeah it's a shame that there wasn't any updates for maps or anything as it can get a bit old playing just 3 maps over and over, especially when the same one pops up about 3 times in a row. I will always come back to it on occasion though so long as the multiplayer is still active. Oh, actually there are 4 maps if you count the flying game type, which I forget the name of. I believe that map is based off of an old Battlefield PC map? To be honest, game developers should do stuff like this more often... imagine a Call of Duty Black Ops Plus or something... or even a revisit to, for example, Call of Duty 1 (Classic), where there are like 3 standalone maps based off the original engine. It would be good :). I definately recommend 1943 though :D.
