What happened to destructable environments like Bad Company? The game plays just as well, if not better than Bad Company, but the only thing thats destructable is the trees. Bad Company's destruction engine was the reason I enjoyed it more than CoD. Anyone agree?

You can still destroy buildings. Bunkers were made unbreakable because of the air raids. Almost everything else is destructable.

Really?

Have you even played the game? If so, you might be blind.

I am glad they made some cover. I disliked how you could not hide to heal anywhere in BC.

The game is running on a modified BC1 Frostbite engine so the destruction is the same as BC1 which actually was very limited. Bad Company 2 will have fully destructible environments (or so they say).

It should be better. They promised to have fully destructable buildings. In BC the basic framework remained, but in BC2 you should be able to take everything down.

That could possibly be game breaking. It'll be interesting to see how the game plays out if you can just take down an entire building.

Already done, it's called Red Faction: Guerilla.
