BC2 seems ok, but not as fast pace as MW2. i hate how people say they are moving BC2 because MW2 has so many glitches. think about it, BC2 will probably have the same if not more glitches than MW2, because of the vehicles used in BC2.

Well seeing there are no major perks, killstreaks, or care packages to worry about in BC2, and the vehicles are really easy to destroy, I don't think it will be a problem.

It's not the glitches that people are really worried about. It's Infinity Ward's inability to fix them and to balance the game.
MW2 could have been so much better than it was. IW just got greedy.
you guys are right, i don't know what i was saying. MW2 is so popular that the glitches were exploited in like 2-3 months. BC is less popular so the glitches won't be exploited as fast or at all.
What glitches :)? Its number one seller (pre-orders) at Gamestop right now, it must have a fan base.
Edit: I feel sorry that the "popularity" brought along kids who glitch, an pain in the ass campers. Wasn't it like an insult to call someone a camper in Cod4?
"Ur mom!" "Oh ya? Well your a camper!" "I am sorry I take it back!"
Plus, BF:BC2 doesn't have ridiculous dual-wielding shotguns that can kill from halfway across the map.
And thats good, Troops in Iraq don't do that either.jad206
Apparently Infinity Ward thinks we do. And that we run around dual-wielding machine pistols.

are you kidding me. Infinity Ward doesn't think we do. Its a game for god sakes, they had to add something different, and plus people asked them to put duel wielding weapons in the game.
Well IW said it's true so I believe it!jad206
I think I'll just stick with BF:BC2. Modern Warfare 3 will have to be AMAZING if they want my money.
So what do you propose everyone does? Run around with no strategy? Because that is exactly what I see in games like Call of Duty and Battlefield. Some gamers don't know when to let go of the sprint stick and are always full throttle. So when a charge is planted at A, they run full speed ahead into the base. What do many gamers and I do? We sit and wait for those runners to run into the base and pick them off. It's a strategy and it can be applied to any shooter you play.^I am sorry that i actually like to PLAY my games and not sit around. Feels like Smokey the Bear is gonna come warn me about forest fires.
But why, may I ask, are you defending campers? They are the bane of enjoyment.

Add something different? Why not add more weapons? How can you say dual-wielding shotguns is realistic? Or even dual-wielding machine-pistols? It's a worthless concept.
They could have allowed you to put more things on your weapons without the perk, or given you the option of choosing what type of camouflage suit your character could wear.
But no, they decided to go the brainless path of allowing characters to have more firepower. Dual-wielding weapons was added as an after-thought. Much like special-ops instead of a true co-op campaign.

You, have never played CoD. As applied to BF, that is not camping your defending. You will move on once that crate is gone, you will have no reason to stay there.^I am sorry that i actually like to PLAY my games and not sit around. if they did that camo stuff and co op gameplay, might as well name it rainbow six vegas 3 with a better control system.
I like the freedom to use more tactics in BC2. I wouldn't write off modern warfare though, it's still fun for some running and gunning. Many hardcore mw players I know were skeptical about BC2 but once I got them on the demo they were impressed with it.
I also feel like BC2 has a lot more thought put into it then mw2. It seems like Infinity Ward just took COD4 and added a few things people thought should have been in the first one. In Bad company 2 they've renovated everything for a much better player experience so to speak.

What's wrong with taking things that work from R6V2 and implementing them? At least with Rainbow Six Vegas 2 I was getting a quality game that improved dramatically over the first.
With MW2 I got a game that took major steps backwards compared to the first. Didn't have these ridiculous glitches and boosters in the first one.
I don't want anything to kill MW2...the noobs and casuals need something to play and look forward to, they need the false sense of achievement and "skillz".
At least Dice care about the community, realeasing a beta, and a demo.
IW spit in the face of call of duty fans. whether it will kill MW2 or not i dont know, but it damn sure deserves to
@kaos - Thats what really set it apart for me... How much more I enjoyed this demo, in comparison to the full MW game I've had for months. It pretty much is a slap in the face to any gaming organization when another competitor can release a demo that is more enticing than a full fledged game.formerjunkieOr a BETA that can do it. I've been telling all my friends that BFBC2 BETA has been by far more enjoyable then MW2.
Always picked up the CoD games pretty much straight away, decided to have a go at the Battlefield: BC2 Demo after playing on the first one round my mates house and immediatley felt that I was playing as a team even though I didn't even know anyone in the game. It was a great sense of achievement when you collapse the building that crate A is currently in :) - Battlefield is a complete and utter winner over MW2 by a long shot.
MW2 is it's OWN killer...it killed the CoD series for me.AtomicBaconBitsSame...I'll will never again buy a COD at launch, and I've gotten all of them at lauch since COD 3.
Personally I think that is an excellent reason to quit MW2 and play any other game. At some point you have to lay some of the blame at the game makers as well as the gamers - the fact is the game was released with a ton of glitches/cheats and bugs and they have been inexcusably slow to deal with it, and I find it amazing that the only reporting of these problems on the major gaming sites comes from gamers posting stuff to youtube and being linked or quoted, as happened with the negative xp glitch. It's like the industry gives the series a free pass and heaps nothing but praise on the game - personally I hope a ton of players stop playing as it's the only way they will get the message.i hate how people say they are moving BC2 because MW2 has so many glitches.
