I have Halo too if that will make a difference

I wasnt trying to say it had a story but which would you rather play because one is mainly MP and the other is SP only. Both are great games you cant go wrong with either one so thats the real decision to make SP or MP. Coming on here to ask is only gonna get you biased answers where people tell you what they would want to play but you aren't them. You have to figure it out for yourself.
HERE is the best plan. GET bf3 first. since it seems like you don't buy your own games. You need the lostest lasting game. and MP helps with that. NOW skirim. im 95% sure there will be a GOTY copy some time late next year. with $50-$100 of DLC in it for the same cost of new game. SO wait on skirim. k2theswissActually I do buy my games, it's just my mom doesn't let me buy to many
Trade in Batman for BF3 and then get Skyrim for Christmas. :PI have Batman: Arkham City and I will have to wait till christmas for the other one

I am doing the exact opposite. BF3 and Skyrim. Batman AC can wait a while. Haven't even beat the 1st one yet :p.
But to answer your Q. I would say BF3 for multiplayer seeing as you have a SP game already?
If I were you, I'd get Battlefield 3. Since you already have a SP game, why not a MP game? I'm personally going to be getting Skyrim for christmas and MAYBE Arkham City...orb_03_2006Arkham City is amazing haven't had one problem with it
They are not alike at all besides the fact they are FPS games, although skyrim can also be played in third person view. But if you really enjoy Oblivion or Fallout then buy Skyrim. If you enjoy COD and Badcompany then buy BF3. Its all up to you. I personally am picking up both. But I will admit, when Skyrim comes out, all other games will be collecting dust while Skyrim is spinning in my Xbox since Im most excited for Skyrim.
I'd say Battlefield from the point that if you're going to be playing the multiplayer a lot it's probably going to be a much more enjoyable experience if you jump in now, while everyone is more or less learning things from the start, than in 3-6 months, when you're going to be rolled hard if you jump in and try to learn.
Whereas Skyrim is still going to be the same experience for you whether you get it now or later.
I'm surprised by the amount of people who are saying BF3 over Skyrim... It's blasphemous to think that BF3 should be purchased before Skyrim! Well, in my opinion it is anyway.gamerfreak1991
And in many people's opinions Oblivion is highly over rated. :P
And with that said, I agree with the majority of people. If your mom limits your spending (which by the way, thank her for that, it's a great habit for the future) then buy BF3 and wait until next year to pick up Skyrim for the GOTY edition.
